Justin Simmons is truly “our Representative” – someone who has made serving others the hallmark of his professional career and his achievements in Harrisburg.
First elected to the House of Representatives on a platform of leading by example on reform and bringing fiscal sanity back to Harrisburg, Justin has done just that by refusing the taxpayer-paid pension and per diems, as well as passing responsible budgets that focus on priorities while holding the line on taxes.
Justin has also proven to be an effective legislator and advocate for our community. In his first term alone he had three pieces of legislation passed into law, including one that requires Home Rule Charter counties like Lehigh to ask the voters to spend money on publically financed projects like sports stadiums. Since then, he has advanced other pieces of legislation, including efforts to help disadvantaged youth, making it harder for school districts to raise property taxes, and more.
Justin also has deep roots in our community. He is a graduate of Southern Lehigh High School and earned his Bachelor’s Degree from St. Joseph’s University. A resident of Upper Saucon Township for nearly two decades, Justin and his wife, Erica, are the proud parents of a newborn baby girl named Reagan, and have two dogs – Bailey and Toby.
